Jennifer Steadman has been a part of the dental field since receiving her assisting certificate in high school. From there, she then obtained her bachelor’s degree from Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Beginning her career as a dental hygienist, Jennifer’s role has grown immensely. Through extensive training and continuing education courses, she has become the Director of Affiliations and Business Development for New England Dental Partners, supporting numerous general practices in New England and overseeing multiple teams. Since joining the dental community, Jennifer has taken on a true passion for dentistry, and continually strives to advance her skills through training opportunities, conferences, seminars and educational courses. She has become a Fellow of the American Association of Dental Office Management (FAADOM), a prestigious accomplishment obtained after meeting rigorous requirements. She is the founder and former president of the Boston Chapter of AADOM, a non-profit organization that brings local dental managers and practice administration together, for continuing education and networking events. In 2019, she was recognized for her on-going hard work and dedication, as she was nominated and honored by AADOM as a Practice Administrator of Distinction at their annual conference.
Jennifer grew up in the Merrimack Valley of Massachusetts, and was a competitive dancer for many years, teaching children between the ages of 2 and 18. She brings open communication and a positive uplifting culture to her team, while continually furthering her education. She strives to build a cohesive dental family that provides high-quality dental care to each and every individual, while focusing on patient education and the importance of a trusted, welcoming dental home. Every year, Jennifer attends the Yankee Dental Congress; New England’s largest meeting for dental professionals that are seeking the highest quality of continuing education. She takes multiple courses highlighting various areas of dentistry including patient care and dental office management. She attends AADOM’s annual conference; a multi-day dental education and networking event that supports a tribe of empowered professionals who create and manage successful practices.
As she continues to strengthen her skills and expand her knowledge, Jennifer’s goal is to support more team members in the dental community. She hopes to spread positive communication that is essential to maintain a cohesive team, and to continually help team members grow within the business. She strives to follow in the footsteps of her Nana, who she admires. She encouraged Jennifer to reach for the stars and to only put her name on something, if it was her very best work. Jennifer has gained many attributes from her nana, including hard work, honesty and exceptional communication skills. Those who are fortunate enough to work with her, describe Jennifer as happy, caring, and an authentic leader.
During her time away from the office, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband Dominick, and their two daughters Addison and Caroline. You can find them taking trips to the lakes region of New Hampshire, and spending time with their extended family and friends!
